Harris County uses web-GIS to display its FEMA Benchmark locations. Surveyors and engineers can use the numerous search tools provided to find and view monuments, as well as print out related map and textual information.
The Tropical Storm Allison Recovery Project (TSARP) uses web-GIS interactive mapping tools to allow residents to view flood hazard recovery data for Harris County. Address matching and hard-copy map output tools enable users to analyze specific locations of interest.
This is an active project with the City of Houston - developing an online work order management system to allow contractors to apply for work permits online. This web solution manages permit applications and work areas associated with them. Select "Public Access" to activate the mapping application.
